3rd Annual Bands at the Rock Marching Band Competition and Exhibition

The Rockvale Band is excited to host their 3rd annual “Bands at the Rock” Marching Band Competition & Exhibition on Saturday, September 16. The event will feature performances by 21 high school bands from across Tennessee and Alabama as they compete for a chance to take home “The Rock” for the small or large division. In addition to the competition, there will be two exciting exhibition performances; the Admiral Phunk Brass Band will perform following the competition performances and they will be joined in collaboration by the Rockvale Band before they too take the field in exhibition and perform their 2023 show, Supernatural.

Tickets for the event are $20 for adults and include a contest program. All children and students high school age and younger are FREE. Tickets may be purchased early via GoFan by following this link: https://gofan.co/event/1105252?schoolId=TN72645_1

Concessions will be sold on site by the Rockvale Band Boosters. Contest shirts and swag will be available through our friends at Grand Champion Design. Kona Ice will also be on site serving their tasty shaved ice treats.

The Rockvale Middle School Band will be selling Band-a-grams at the contest site with all proceeds going to benefit the Rockvale Middle School Band.
