La Vergne’s Waldron Road Expansion and Twinning Station Development
La Vergne is preparing for major growth around Waldron Road with a widening project that will transform the existing two-lane road into five lanes, complete with sidewalks on both sides.
The project also includes a new connector road called Blair West, which will run from the Waldron Road and Blair Road intersection to Carothers Road. The new connection is designed to improve traffic flow, provide another route through the area, and help reduce congestion for drivers trying to bypass Interstate 24.
Alongside the road improvements, the surrounding area is being developed into Twinning Station, a large mixed-use project featuring apartments, townhomes, single-family homes, senior living options, and approximately 200,000 square feet of retail space.
Plans for Twinning Station include shopping, dining, entertainment, and potentially a national grocery store. The development will also feature assisted living, independent living, and additional senior housing nearby.
