I’m Lookin’ for Lichen

Lichens are neither plant nor fungus but a partnership between the two, and once a child can spot them they turn up on every tree and fence post between here and home. The Wilderness Station walks families through finding and identifying the common ones and why they matter to a healthy forest. Ages 6 and up; registration required.
