Archie’s Promise, a nonprofit founded by Claressa Ham, recently collaborated with Rockvale Middle School to launch a hygiene vending machine that supplies essential hygiene items and snacks to students at no cost. The vending machine is coordinated by Archie’s Promise, stocked weekly with necessities including feminine hygiene packs, laundry sheets, deodorant, bar soap, travel-size shampoo/conditioner, and snacks, and sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Murfreesboro. Students in need can discreetly access items by visiting a school counselor, who uses a debit-style card system to dispense products.

This initiative not only ensures that students have access to basic personal care products but also supports attendance and self-confidence – reinforcing the idea that “hygiene is hope” in the words of Archie’s Promise leadership.
