White Monkey Market & The Urban Social have officially opened their doors at 224 West Main Street in downtown Murfreesboro, bringing a fresh and vibrant twist to the city’s Main Street scene. White Monkey Market, which first launched in early 2024 on Middle Tennessee Boulevard, now thrives as a full-fledged mercantile-style retail shop featuring local artisan-made goods – think Hog Wash Soaps, Sanders Brothers Coffee, Anchored Hope clothing, Mossy Hearth Bakery alongside curated vintage, antique, mid-century, and primitive treasures.

Sharing the same storefront is The Urban Social, a chic boutique event venue inspired by 1920s speakeasy glam, designed to host intimate gatherings of up to 50 guests. With about 3,000 square feet, it includes lounge and dining areas, restrooms, and a prep kitchen. The Urban Social is perfect for small weddings, showers, business luncheons, seminars, community group meet-ups, and more. Rentals are available seven days a week, starting at around $130 per hour on weekdays and $150 on weekends, with special packages and discounts for nonprofits or locals. The venue even offers add-on access to White Monkey Market during events for a small fee.
