Back-to-School Drive in Rutherford County

Rutherford County Schools will open for the 2022-2023 year on Friday, August 5, 2022 and School Board candidate Frances Rosales wants to help ensure that all children are prepared. Therefore, in association with the non-profits Break-Thru Nashville and YAIPAK Outreach of Clarksville, she will host a Back-to-School Bash Monday, July 18 from 5PM to 7PM at 451 N. Thompson Lane, #A in Murfreesboro.

Rosales invites Rutherford County residents to join her at this event where backpacks and school supplies will be provided on a first come, first served basis. In addition to the giveaways, four Nashville Sounds tickets will be given away.

Rosales states, ¨This will be a wonderful opportunity for children, their parents, and guardians to obtain needed supplies and enjoy a good time before school starts. Returning to school will be much more exciting for the students when they can walk through the doors with a brand new backpack and supplies.¨ In addition, Rosales will be happy to meet and greet attendees to discuss any thoughts they might have about Rutherford County Schools.

¨I think we have a great school system and our teachers and staff do a wonderful job of educating our children." says Rosales. ´I am a school board candidate because I believe I can support them in their work and at the same time incorporate the rights of parents more fully into the system. If we together in a spirit of teamwork and understanding we can accomplish great things on behalf of our children.¨
