Battle of the Badges blood drive encourages community support
The community is invited to participate in the upcoming Battle of the Badges Blood Drive, a friendly competition among the Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department, Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO), Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services (RCEMS), and Rutherford County Fire Department (RCFD).
The blood drive will take place on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Patterson Park Community Center, 521 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Murfreesboro, TN 37130, and is hosted by Blood Assurance, the primary blood supplier for most hospitals across Middle Tennessee. All blood donated during the event remains in Middle Tennessee to support local patients and healthcare facilities.
The event is open to the public, and participants are encouraged to donate on behalf of their favorite first responder team. Community members, friends, and family are all welcome to participate. Each donor receives a Battle of the Badge t-shirt.
