Betty Ruth Light Walker obituary
Betty Ruth Light Walker, age 88 of Mt. Juliet, TN, passed away Wednesday March 27, 2019. A native of Gracey, KY, she was the daughter of the late Forest Lee and Ollie Jane Wyatt Light. Mrs. Walker was also preceded in death by her husband, Owen Clark Walker, and sons, David Clark Walker, Sr., and Donald Wayne Walker.
Mrs. Walker is survived by her sons, Dale Walker and his wife Julie of Lebanon, TN, and Dennis Walker of Mt. Juliet, TN; daughters, Janie Maddux and her husband Wayne of Mt. Juliet, TN, and Brenda Tomlinson and her husband Dan of Mt. Juliet, TN; eleven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday at Living Springs Baptist Church, 4559 Weakley Lane Mt. Juliet, TN 37122. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Saturday at Living Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Edgar Boles officiating. Burial will follow in Wilson County Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
