Boro Beach opening Day Delayed

Opening day at Boro Beach, the outdoor pool at Sports*Com, will be delayed due to unexpected construction repairs.

“We had hoped to open Saturday on Memorial Day weekend,” said Kyle Goss, Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation aquatics supervisor. “The repairs turned out to be greater than we had anticipated.”

Summer camps and Guard Start (lifeguard lessons) at Sports*Com will continue as scheduled according to Goss. “We plan to use the indoor pool for camps and lessons,” he said.

Updates on the status of the repairs will be posted on the Sports*Com and Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation Facebook pages as well as on the Boro Beach page of the city’s website at www.murfreesboroparks.com.
