Bounmy Thammovong obituary
Mr. Bounmy Thammovong, age 81, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away Thursday, September 19, 2019. He was born in Laos to the late Linh and Va Thammovong. Mr. Thammovong was a soldier in Laos who fought in the Vietnam War. He immigrated to the United States in the late 1980’s and worked as a welder for Allvan. Mr. Thammovong attended Wat Lao Temple.
Mr. Thammovong is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nouanchanh Thammovong; children, Boualay Thammovong of Murfreesboro, Thongsay Whittington and her husband Jeff of Lebanon, TN, and Khambay Thammovong and his fiancée JoAn Sensombath of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Brandon Perry, Jordan Kelley, Jaylin Thammovong, and Alani Sensombath; and three sisters in Laos.
Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, September 24, 2019 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at 1:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
