Buster’s has long been a cornerstone of Murfreesboro’s burger scene, having opened in 1973 and weathered multiple ownership changes over the decades. Previously run by Peter and Kathy Moret since 2013, the restaurant has recently passed into new hands (via interviews shared in a recent feature, new owner Alex is now stewarding the legacy). Under fresh leadership, Buster’s is blending its nostalgic charm and loyal customer base with a renewed energy while maintaining its signature juicy burgers, smoked wings, and classic sides, while being open to evolution and new ideas.
