Buc-ee’s Groundbreaking Ceremony

Congratulations to Buc-ee’s for their groundbreaking ceremony on October 15, 2025.

Buc-ee’s has officially broken ground on its new travel-center facility at the intersection of I-24 and Joe B. Jackson Parkway in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, marking the chain’s fourth location in the state. The facility is planned to be around 74,000 sq ft in size with approximately 120 fueling stations available for travelers. Beyond fuel and convenience offerings, Buc-ee’s will bring its signature mix of snacks, fresh food items like Texas-style barbecue and kolaches, and the brand’s “world’s cleanest bathrooms” reputation. The project is also expected to create at least 250 full-time jobs with benefits, and improvements to local roads and access infrastructure (such as the realignment of Butler Drive and Elam Road) are underway to support the increase in traffic.
