Christi Burnett Obituary
Mrs. Christi Wells Burnett, age 53, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away Friday, August 23, 2024. She was born in Cleveland, TN to Bill and Sally Wells. Christi was a graduate of Smyrna High School and MTSU. She was a loving wife and mother to her family. She was delighted to be involved in her children’s sporting events. Christi spent eight long years as a warrior battling cancer. She kept a smile on her face as she kept on going to prevent life from passing her by. Christi was proud to be a member of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians.
Christi is survived by her husband, Brill Burnett; children, Madison Dean, Baylor Burnett, Ellie Burnett, William Burnett, Ashlie Burnett, and Brooklynn Burnett; parents, Bill and Sally Wells; and nephew, Joseph Maktima. She was preceded in death by her sister, Shari Maktima.
Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, August 28, 2024 from 3:00pm until 7:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 2:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
