City Council holds Budget Review Sessions May 25, June 1, 6 & 8

The Murfreesboro City Council will meet in special session at 4:00 p.m., Thurs., May 25 and June 1; 5:15 p.m., Tues., June 6, and 4:00 p.m. Thurs., June 8, in the Council Chambers at City Hall for the purpose of reviewing the proposed FY 2017-2018 Budget.

Who: The Murfreesboro City Council and City department heads.

What:  The proposed FY 2017-18 Budget will be reviewed by the City Council. Outside agencies and several City departments will be reviewed.

When:   Thurs., May 25 and June 1 at 4:00 p.m., Tues., June 6, 5:15 p.m. and Thurs., June 8, 4:00 p.m.

City Council will conduct a Public Hearing, June 8, 2017, at 7 p.m. to consider first reading of the FY 2017-18 Budget ordinance.  Second reading will be considered on June 15.  A copy of the Proposed FY 2017-18 Budget is available on the City’s website at http://www.murfreesborotn.gov/index.aspx?NID=134.
