THE CITY OF LA VERGNE 2017 HOME GRANT REHABILITATION PROGRAM

THE CITY OF LA VERGNE will hold a PUBLIC MEETING at City Hall located at 5093 Murfreesboro Road, La Vergne, TN, 37086 Thursday, October 26, 2017 at 6:00 p.m., to explain Policies and Procedures for a HOME rehabilitation program. The goal of the program is to correct eligible substandard owner-occupied housing located in the city limits. Rehabilitation work will correct code deficiencies in eligible homes and make them safe, sound energy efficient and sanitary. The HOME grant funds can be used to address owner-occupied homes within the city limits.

The HOME funds cannot be used on any type of manufactured home.  Applications will be available and assistance will be provided to those who wish to participate in the program. Program Policies and Procedures will be reviewed and residents will have an opportunity to ask questions about the HOME Program.  This project is funded under an agreement with Tennessee Housing Development Agency through the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development.
