Middle Tennessee Widening Project (Greenland Dr to E. Main St)

Expected Lane Closures: Monday through Friday: Median construction, traffic signal and landscaping work continues between E Main St and Greenland Dr. Final paving and pavement marking work continues. Appropriate traffic controls are in place.

W Lytle Street Roadway Improvement Project (Baker St to Church St)

Expected Lane Closures: Monday through Friday: W Lytle St is re-opened to traffic. Incidental construction work continues along W Lytle St. Appropriate traffic controls are in place.

Private Development (Circle K) Turn Lane Improvement Work (John Bragg Hwy just east of Rutherford Blvd)

Expected Lane Closures: Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm: As part of private development, turn lane and median modifications will be done on John Bragg Hwy just east of Rutherford Blvd. There will be lane closures and minor traffic interruptions. Appropriate traffic controls will be in place.

Private Development (Starbucks) Driveway Improvement Work (Cason Ln and River Rock Blvd)

Expected Lane Closures: Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 3:00 pm: As part of private development, driveway and curb & gutter work will be done along River Rock Blvd and Cason Ln. There will be short lane closures and minor traffic interruptions. Appropriate traffic controls will be in place.

Right Turn Lane Improvement Work (Rutherford Blvd at Mercury Blvd)

Expected Lane Closures: Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 3:00 pm: City contractor will be making right turn lane improvements on Rutherford Blvd (southbound) at Mercury Blvd. There will be minor lane closures and traffic interruptions. Northbound traffic will not be affected. Appropriate traffic controls will be in place.

Underground Utility Installation Work (Genoa Dr at Saint Andrews Dr)

Expected Lane Closures: Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm: Utility contractor will be installing underground utility lines across Genoa Dr at Saint Andrews Dr. There will be lane closures and traffic interruptions on Genoa Dr. Traffic on Saint Andrews Dr will not be affected. Appropriate traffic controls will be in place.

Concrete Driveway Installation Work (Bradyville Pike just south of Medford Campbell Blvd)

Expected Lane Closures: Monday through Saturday, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm: Private Development concrete driveway installation work on Bradyville Pike just south of Medford Campbell Blvd. There will be lane closures and traffic interruptions on Bradyville Pike. Appropriate traffic controls will be in place.

Underground Utility Installation Work (Old Salem Rd at Capt. Joe Fulghum Dr)

Expected Lane Closures: Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm: Utility contractor will be installing underground utility lines across Old Salem Rd at Capt. Joe Fulghum Dr. Traffic on Old Salem Rd will be reduced to one-lane flagging operation. On Saturday, April 20, Old Salem Rd will be closed at Capt. Joe Fulghum Dr. Traffic will be detoured onto Industrial Dr, Park Ave and Capt. Joe Fulghum Dr. Appropriate traffic controls will be in place.

Annual City Street Paving Projects

Expected Lane Closures: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM: City paving contractor will be loop installation, milling, paving and striping on the following streets:
1. NW Broad St at Thompson Ln (night time work between 8:00 pm and 5:00 am)
2. Molloy Ln at New Salem Hwy
3. Middle Tennessee Blvd between E Main St and Greenland Dr
4. Medical Center Pkwy between NW Broad St and Memorial Blvd
Expect lane shifts and traffic interruptions. Appropriate traffic controls will be in place.

TDOT Resurfacing Projects

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, SR 99 (New Salem Hwy) resurfacing from Cason Lane to I-24
• Daily, 9AM-4PM, There will be alternating lane closures between the intersection of Barfield Drive and SR99 for the placement of bridge beams over West Fork Stones River. Appropriate traffic controls will be in-place.
