Lace Up Your Tennis Shoes for Child Abuse Victims

“Lace up your tennis shoes and join your friends, family, co-workers, and neighbors for the 4th Annual Hometown Heroes Walk for Children,” said Child Advocacy Center Director Sharon De Boer.

The Hometown Heroes Walk for Children will be held on Friday, April 26, 2019 at the Murfreesboro Civic Plaza, downtown on the square. Walkers can ride complimentary Rover shuttles from the Child Advocacy Center to the Civic Plaza from 10:30-11:15 a.m. Registration will be held at the Civic Plaza from 11:00-11:45 a.m., speakers at 11:45 a.m., and the Walk will begin at 12:00 noon. The proceeds from the Walk will support crisis intervention services for victims of child abuse, child sexual abuse, and drug endangered children,” continued De Boer.
