David Seals obituary

David Seals, age 63 of Smyrna, died Monday at his home surrounded by his family. He was a native of Sparta, Tennessee and a son of the late Thurman Seals and Nora Knowles Seals. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Ray and Carroll Seals.

Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Jean Seals; children, Pace Bostic and husband Jason and Lisa Dugan and husband Mike, all of Murfreesboro, Christina Manus and Clifton Barnes both of Smyrna; grandchildren, Tristan and Bryce Mitchell, Cadie Bostic, Emily and Megan Grimes, Parker Shanklin, and Abbey Manus; a brother, Curtis Seals of Hermitage; and a host of other loving family and friends.

Mr. Seals was an electrician and owner of Seals Electric Lighting and Sign Company. He previously worked as a paramedic at Arnold Air Force Base as well as Rutherford and Cannon Counties.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you hug your family members and tell them you love them. An online guestbook is available for the Seals family at www.woodfinchapel.com.
