Discovery Center to Host 34th Annual Secret Garden Party and Tour

The Discovery Center will host its 34th Annual Secret Garden Party on Friday, June 5, at Belle Meadows Farm in Lascassas. The celebration will be followed by the Secret Garden Tour on Saturday, June 6, and Sunday, June 7.

The annual events serve as a fundraiser supporting the Discovery Center’s educational programs for children and families. Tickets are available now at explorethedc.org.

The Secret Garden Party will take place at Belle Meadows Farm, located at 6241 Browns Mill Road in Lascassas. The property, owned by Susan and Howard Wilson, includes a converted barn event space on a working farm.

Guests can enjoy dining by Five Senses, live music, silent and live auctions, and a “Cowboy Chic” theme. Jay Cash will serve as auctioneer for the live auction.

The funds raised are essential to ensuring the Discovery Center can continue providing hands-on programs and exhibits that serve children and families across Middle Tennessee and support our mission of inspiring curiosity and lifelong learning.”

The Secret Garden Tour will take place June 6 and 7, offering access to a selection of public and private gardens across Murfreesboro. The tour is presented in partnership with the Master Gardeners of Rutherford County. Tickets are $20 per person and are available at explorethedc.org.

“What makes the Secret Garden Party special is the setting, the people, and the purpose behind it,” said Anna Kate Arrowood, co-chair of the 2026 Secret Garden Party Committee. “It’s a relaxed evening where you can enjoy good food, spend time with others, and support the Discovery Center and the work it does for families in our community. We’re also looking forward to having Jay Cash lead the live auction this year, which will add something new and exciting to the festivities.”

The Secret Garden Party will serve as the kickoff to the tour weekend. Tickets for both events are available through the Discovery Center’s website.
