Dorothy Warrick obituary

Dorothy Warrick, age 86 of Smyrna, died Monday. She was a native of Rutherford County and a daughter of the late John Willie Ashford and Emma Gammon Ashford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Clarence Warrick; a son, Don Warrick; a grandson, Charlie Warrick; and a brother, Ronnie Jacobs.

Survivors include a daughter, Joe Ann Shoffner; brothers, Dean, Alton, and Ricky Jacobs; twelve grandchildren; and twenty-six great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will 11:00 a.m. Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
