DR. PHAYTHOUNE CHOTHMOUNETHINH JOINS SAINT THOMAS MEDICAL PARTNERS IN HENDERSONVILLE

Phaythoune Chothmounethinh, M.D. has joined Saint Thomas Medical Partners in Hendersonville as a family medicine, integrative medicine and primary care physician (see picture below).  Dr. Chothmounethinh joins STMP after receiving his B.A. in Psychology and Asian Studies from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor and his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in East Lansing.  Saint Thomas Health is part of Ascension, the nation’s largest Catholic and non-profit health system.

Dr. Chothmounethinh completed his residency in Family Medicine at the University of Arizona in Tucson, and he completed his fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona in Tucson.  He is board-certified in Family Medicine.  Dr. Chothmounethinh was a clinical preceptor for advanced practitioner students at two area universities, has lectured on integrative medicine and was the lead author of the Mind-Body Medicine Module of Arizona Center’s Integrative Medicine in Residency Program.
