Join us for a weekend of talks and living history demonstrations featuring the speed and mobility of the mounted arms that squared off during the Battle of Stones River.
DAILY PROGRAM SCHEDULE
11 AM – Confederate Hoofbeats – Watch Confederate cavalry demonstrate their movements and weapons and learn how Confederate cavalry evolved to become perhaps the most effective force in the Army of Tennessee.
1 PM – The Cavalries at Stones River – Author and Civil War historian Dennis Belcher will share his insights on the role of cavalry in the Battle of Stones River.
Mr. Belcher will be on hand in our visitor center from 10 AM to 3:30 PM to speak with visitors and sign copies of his books.
