Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department to host free citizens CPR class in May
The Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department (MFRD) is offering a free Citizens CPR Class on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at 1930 Memorial Blvd. (Airport Business Center).
This hands-on class is open to all community members, including parents, caregivers, babysitters, lifeguards, restaurant staff, teachers, and anyone interested in learning lifesaving skills.
Participants will receive instruction on:
- Adult, child, and infant CPR
- Proper use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- Techniques for relieving choking
The Citizens CPR Class is designed to equip individuals with the knowledge and confidence to respond in emergency situations before first responders arrive.
MFRD encourages community members to take advantage of this free training opportunity and become better prepared to help save lives.
