MMC and McKnight Advisory Group Host Free Medicare Seminar
Murfreesboro Medical Clinic and McKnight Advisory Group hosted a free, educational seminar on Thursday, September 13th titled, “How to Get Totally Lost on the Road to Medicare.” This seminar provided information to help patients navigate the long, winding road to obtaining Medicare.
McKnight Advisory Group’s “Mr. Medicare,” Hillary Broome, opened up the evening with the joke, “Does anyone remember the movie Route 66? If so, then I believe you’re in the right place. It’s time for you to be thinking about Medicare.”
For the remainder of the evening Mr. Broome broke down the different Medicare plans and options, weighting the positives and negatives of each. He did so in a way that made the options, which are often viewed as confusing, a little clearer and less overwhelming for attendees.
“Each of the Medicare plans will take you where you need to go, but it all depends on how you want to travel,” Mr. Broome shared. His goal for this seminar was to assist patients on their journey to obtaining Medicare by providing them with the information needed to make the right choice for themselves and their families.
