Gumbo Bros Opening Soon in Murfreesboro
A new Cajun restaurant is officially opening in Murfreesboro. We stopped by the brand-new Gumbo Bros location off Veterans Parkway near the new Publix shopping center to get a sneak peek inside before opening day.
Owner and chef Adam shares the story behind Gumbo Bros, how the concept started in New York City, and why they chose Murfreesboro for their second location after success in Nashville’s Gulch.
On the menu, you can expect authentic Cajun food made from scratch including:
- Gumbo
- Red beans and rice
- Shrimp po’boys
- Fried catfish
- Alligator po’boys
- Crawfish specials
- New Orleans bread shipped in from Leidenheimer Bakery
The team is planning to open Friday, May 15th, at 11am if everything stays on schedule, with a big kickoff weekend including crawfish and drink specials.
