Hardee’s Biscuit Baker Competition to be Held in Murfreesboro
On June 15, Hardee’s is hosting a biscuit baker regional competition at their location in Murfreesboro, TN. The competition is the first of four regionals taking place within the next month where Hardee’s top 13 biscuit bakers will showcase their talents.
Hardee’s has been making biscuits from scratch for nearly 62 years and have been recognizing the top biscuit makers across the organization for numerous years with this competition.
As part of the competition, each contestant will prepare one full batch of the brand’s famous Made From Scratch™ biscuits being scored on appearance, bake-out weight, diameter, height, texture, taste, and color. Along with biscuit baking, competitors will be judged on uniform and grooming, knowledge of biscuit procedures and standards and set up of biscuit station.
The four competitors with the highest scores from regional competitions will go on to compete for the grand prize of $10,000 in Franklin, TN, this September.
