Hops Half Marathon Coming to Murfreesboro This October
The first-ever Hops Half Marathon is coming to Hops Springs on October 24, and it is shaping up to be a big day for runners, families, and the entire community.
We sit down with April Davis to talk about everything planned for the event, including the 13.1-mile course, the one-mile family run, a virtual race option, runner swag, the finisher medal with a built-in bottle opener, and the huge fall festival happening afterward.
The half marathon is expected to begin around 7 a.m., followed by the Hops Springs Fall Festival at 11 a.m. with live music, food trucks, vendors, and more.
Best of all, this year's race will benefit the Child Advocacy Center serving Rutherford and Cannon counties.
Whether you're an experienced runner, planning to walk it, or just want to support a great local cause, this is an event worth checking out.
