James Cline obituary

Mr. James Cline, age 88, of Smyrna, TN passed away Thursday, May 24, 2018. He was born in Batesville, OH to the late Sylvan and Mildred English Cline. Mr. Cline proudly served his country in the United States Army. He then worked for Ford Motor Company until his retirement. Mr. Cline attended St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Northville, MI. He was a life member of VFW Post #8422 in Smyrna and a member of the American Legion #396 in Garden City, MI.

Mr. Cline is survived by his son, Lee Cline of Wilmington, DE; daughters, Ann VanSickel of Tucson, AZ and Rhonda Sims of Murfreesboro, TN; longtime companion, Diane Murray; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Kang Cline.

Burial will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI. Those arrangements are incomplete at this time.
