Jean Elizabeth Maxwell obituary

Mrs. Jean Elizabeth Maxwell, age 96, of Nashville, TN passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2018. She was born in Upper Sandusky, Ohio to the late Isaac and Cora Corfman. Mrs. Maxwell served in the Air Force, where she worked at the Pentagon as a stenographer from 1947 to 1951. She was active in the Murfreesboro Antique Association and enjoyed working weekends at C.B. Arnetteā€™s Antique Gallery.

Mrs. Maxwell is survived by her children, Tona Hutton and husband Doug of Nashville, Lance Maxwell and husband Michael of New York City, and Sherry Eisele and husband Ken of Valley, AL; brother, Wayne Corfman of Fort Pierce, FL; grandchildren, Jason Eisele of Murphysboro, IL and Laura Conklin of Valley, AL; and great-grandson Christopher Brown.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Maxwell was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Leon Maxwell; brother, James Maurice Corfman; and sisters, Doris Margraf and Miriam Goodman.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2018 from 1PM to 2PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
