Mrs. Cook attended Northminister Presbyterian Church, and was a retired hairdresser. Mrs. Cook graduated from Wartburg Central High School where she played basketball all four years and served as the Captain of her team. She was an avid sports fan and loved watching professional football. Singing was also a passion of hers. Mrs. Cook grew up singing in her church choir and had a love of old gospel hymns and country music. She was a natural performer. Dolly Parton and Tammy Wynette were two of her favorite artists.

More than anything, Jeanette loved spending time with her family. She was a wonderful mother, sister, daughter and friend, but her favorite role was being “Meme”. Her grandchildren were the light of her life.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties in memory of Mrs. Cook.
