Mrs. Julia “Julie” Ann Nattrass obituary

Mrs. Julia “Julie” Ann Nattrass, age 73, formerly of Buffalo, NY passed away Saturday, July 20, 2019. She was born in El Centro, CA to the late Frank and Rita Sutcliffe McPartlan. Julie worked as an occupational therapist before opening her own massage therapy business. She enjoyed her work in helping people through their physical and emotional difficulties. Julie sought out spending time with her family, especially her grandsons. They traveled to Ireland, Sedona, AZ, and Hilton Head Island, SC. She used the humor of her Irish heritage to brighten the lives of people she knew and loved. Julie was involved with the Ten Lives Club outside of Buffalo. She also made a point of rooting for the Buffalo Bills. She was devout member of the Catholic faith.

Julie is survived by her daughter, Katie Garman and her husband Robb; grandsons, Zachary and Brendan Garman all of Murfreesboro, TN; brother, Thomas McPartlan of Gaithersburg, MD; nieces and nephews, Mary Mulready, Caren Wilcox, Nathan Smolka, and Leslie Tripi; and great-uncle, Tom McPartlan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Nora Mulready.

Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, August 17 at 9:15am at Our Lady of Victory Basilica, 767 Ridge Rd, Lackawana, NY 14218.

Memorials may be made to Alive Hospice (alivehospice.org) or the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (pancan.org) in memory of Julie.
