Kathleen Denton obituary
Kathleen Duke Denton, age 84 of Smyrna, TN, passed away Saturday October 20, 2018. A native of Granville, TN, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Pearl Ramsey Denton. Mrs. Denton was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Richard Denton, Sr., brothers, Charles, Robert and Raymond Duke, a sister, Christine Harris, and a granddaughter, Brandy A. Denton.
Mrs. Denton is survived by her sons, Charles Denton, Jr. and his wife Cheryl of Rockvale, TN and Philip R. Denton and his wife Joann of Smyrna, TN; daughter, Pam Johnson and her husband Ron of Smyrna, TN; ten grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Wednesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna followed by a 1:00 PM funeral service with Rev. Milton Hicks officiating. Graveside service will be 3:00 PM Wednesday at Woodlawn Memorial Park with Brandon and Matthew Johnson, Cory Denton, Justin Smith, Tracy and Jeff Farlow and Derrick DeLoach serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Bo Griggs, Tim and Greg Hill.
