Ketkeo Nakhoneinh obituary

Ketkeo Nakhoneinh of Murfreesboro, peacefully passed away in the early hours of Wednesday November 14th in her home comforted by her entire loving family up until the end of her life. She will forever be cherished as she was deeply loved by her immediate family. Her life was as beautiful as the flowers she tended to in her home garden at retirement. Her influence will forever remain in the lives of her children and all who knew her.

In the summer of 1966 during the Vietnam War, she was married to the love of life, husband Soukanh Nakhoneinh who fought alongside the U.S. Army who served as captain in the Lao Army. She was a strong woman who served alongside her military husband, as police woman working in Law Enforcement in Laos. Married 52 years, they were blessed with 6 children. Soukanh and Ketkeo celebrated their golden anniversary in 2016.

She is survived by her husband, Soukanh Nakhoneinh; 6 children: Sengphet Nakhoneinh, Sengphayvanh Allen, Sengchanh Merritt, Sengnilanh Sengkhounmany, Khounthanh Pottmeyer, Aphideth Happy Nakhoneinh; 12 grandchildren: Selina and Kyson Nakhoneinh, Justin and Patrick Sinthavong, Luke Khanthavong, Alyson and Brandon Sourivong, Dylan, Jordan, and Colin Sengkhounmany, Kayley and Jenna Pottmeyer; and 3 great grandchildren: Ian, Nolan and Lilah Sinthavong. Ketkeo Nakhoneinh was born in December 3rd, 1942. She was the daughter of the late Bounpheng and Boun Vongvixay. Visitation will be 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
