Kiddie Academy® of Murfreesboro hosts grand opening
Educational child care provider opens new location in Rutherford County
Kiddie Academy® Educational Child Care, a nationally recognized provider of comprehensive educational child care, announces the opening of a new franchise location at 5117 Malachite Dr. in Murfreesboro. Kiddie Academy of Murfreesboro, which held its grand opening celebration on Aug. 8, is owned and operated by Sheila Freck, alongside Wesley Schroeder and Michelle Loya-Schroeder. Grounded in their love for children, Sheila and Michelle bring strong leadership, commitment and structure to the Academy’s overarching vision, while working closely with the Academy Director Brittany Moss managing daily operations.
“Putting my own daughter in child care inspired me to enter early childhood education nearly two decades ago,” said Moss. “That decision launched my 17-year teaching career, ultimately leading me to recognize my dream of directing an Academy.”
The state-of-the-art, 12,000-square-foot location is equipped with 12 classrooms and features a multipurpose room for indoor play, 6-foot privacy fence surrounding the property and live-stream camera access for families. The classrooms are led by highly qualified, ECE-credentialed educators delivering the Kiddie Academy Life Essentials® curriculum in a clean, spacious learning environment. Kiddie Academy of Murfreesboro will serve 171 children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. The new Academy brings approximately 30 jobs to the area.
Established in 1981, Kiddie Academy is celebrating 45 years of serving children and families through high-quality educational child care.
