Kids Cove opens at Fountains at Gateway
Hearthstone Properties has developed Kids Cove at Fountains, Murfreesboro’s first Class-A distance learning center providing drop-in and full-time access to a fun and safe learning center for kids in K4 to 8th grade. Kids Cove will open November 2 in a 4,477-square-foot space on the ground floor of One Fountain Plaza at Fountains at Gateway, announced developer Scott Graby, president of Hearthstone Properties.
Kids Cove is designed with separate zones for individual and classroom learning to accommodate students’ Zoom classes, traditional homeschooling, tutorial programs and the Rutherford County Virtual School program. Personal study cubes prevent distraction and limit exposure to germs, and a classroom provides safely spaced learning by age group in art, music, elective and tutorial programs. Robust fiber internet and onsite tech support ensures all students have high-speed and tightly filtered data access.
Young children enjoy fun activities and fresh air in indoor and outdoor play areas, and older kids have options for downtime and social activities. Dedicated reading spaces marked by age group allow quiet time for everyone.
Fountains at Gateway’s holistic design as a corporate office campus, upscale retail district and event and entertainment venue creates an ideal environment for families using Kids Cove. Parents can order inexpensive kids’ lunches from onsite eateries Just Love Coffee Café and Burger Republic for lunchtime delivery. And SodaBar provides free drinks for lunch and afternoon ice cream breaks following exercise time. Members also enjoy backstage privileges to all Fountains at Gateway entertainment activities, including Winterfest ice skating, movie nights, concerts, the splashpad, and roof access for the city fireworks spectacular on July 4th.

Kids Cove provides important safety features including UV sterilization through the building ventilation system, strict keycard access controls, onsite security and building management as well as full security camera coverage with parent access to the video stream. And CDC guidelines for this age group will be monitored and followed, including entry temperature checks for staff and kids.
