Kim Inglis Finalist for Teacher of the Year

Everyone meet Kim Inglis. She’s a 5th grade teacher at Black Fox Elementary and she’s in the running as a finalist for Tennessee Teacher of the Year!

“Kim is an educator who challenges students to become their best with kindness and high expectations. I am delighted, but not surprised, that she received this state recognition. She inspires our students to think big and achieve dreams.” – Tiffany Strevel, Black Fox Principal.

“We are thrilled that once again, an MCS educator is gaining wide recognition for the tremendous work being done for our students each day. Mrs. Inglis truly represents not only the best of our district but the best of the profession as well. She is a true example of how educators change the lives of students and the communities they serve in.” – Dr. Trey Duke, Director of Schools.
