Labor Day Sobriety Checkpoint
Members of the LaVergne Police Department will be conducting a Sobriety Checkpoint on Sunday, September 1st, 2019. Officers will also be working moving Alcohol Saturation Patrols (ASP) from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM, and then conducting the Checkpoint on Murfreesboro Road.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Labor Day weekend is one of the deadliest weekends on our roads, with an average of more than 300 lives lost each year. Of these, nearly half were alcohol or drug related.
The La Vergne Police Department is asking for your help by not drinking and driving or driving under the influence of any medication or drug!

TIMES: The Sobriety Checkpoints will be conducted from 10:00 PM – Midnight
