Larry Glen McConnell obituary
Mr. Larry Glen McConnell, age 77, of Milton, TN went to be with the Lord Friday, January 15, 2021. He was born in Anderson, AL to the late Sanford Malon and Mauvine Jewell Cockrell McConnell. Mr. McConnell managed the Firestone location in Murfreesboro over 35 before retiring and then working as office manager for Florida Brothers for another ten years. He was a faithful member of Lascassas Church of Christ. Mr. McConnell enjoyed being outside and working with animals. He did anything he could to help his neighbors making him well known and well thought of.
Mr. McConnell is survived by his wife of 25 years, Linda Bowman McConnell; children, Danny McConnell and his wife Stephanie of Milton, Keith McConnell and his wife Cathy of Murfreesboro, Renee Russell of Milton, Vicki Lester of Nashville, TN, and Thomas Lester of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Rachel Robins, Seth McConnell, Kelly McConnell, Mason McConnell, Ryan McConnell, Alexandria Wood, and Jeffrey Russell; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Don McConnell and his wife Marion of Hendersonville, TN; and faithful canine companion, Buddy who went everywhere with him.
Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, January 19, 2021 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 1:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Burial will take place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
