Man robs four convenience stores with BB gun
A man who has been robbing stores along Memorial Blvd. over the past week and a half has been arrested.
Mark Longmire, Jr., 29, is accused of robbing the following businesses using what appeared to be a shotgun and getting away with hundreds of dollars and cigarettes:

1320 Memorial Blvd
On 10/11/19 at approximately 12:49 a.m., a man entered the business and robbed it at gunpoint before fleeing the scene.

On 10/18/19 around 1:48 a.m., a man wearing all black entered the store with a shotgun demanding money from the cash register and safe and cigarettes. He got away with several hundred dollars and several packs of Newport cigarettes.

On 10/18/19 around 11:00 p.m., the clerk told police a man wearing a black hoodie and ski mask, pointing a shotgun demanding money from the cash register and the victim’s pockets. The clerk cooperated and the suspect fled the scene on foot.

On 10/19/19 at approximately 1:57 a.m., the clerk stated a man wearing black hoodie and black covering his face, brandishing a shotgun, entered the store demanding money. Officers spotted a subject matching the description nearby, detained him and found a BB gun that looked like a shotgun. The suspect was identified as Longmire.
“I am thankful for the hard work and investigative efforts by our officers in identifying and arresting this suspect,” said Chief Michael Bowen. “As of this time we are able to solve at least four robberies with this one arrest.”
Longmire is charged with four (4) counts of Aggravated Robbery and one (1) count of Aggravated Kidnapping. He is scheduled to appear in Rutherford County General Sessions Court Nov. 21.
