Marie Gannon Obituary
Mrs. Marie Lovvorn Gannon, age 87, formerly of Murfreesboro, TN passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at her home in Crossville, TN with her family by her side. She was born in the Christiana community of Rutherford County, TN to the late Coston Clay and Geneva Mai Rowland Lovvorn. Mrs. Gannon worked as a secretary in several different industries until her retirement. She was a charter member of Southeast Baptist Church and attended Lake Tansi Community Church. Mrs. Gannon was a very giving person and enjoyed feeding those around her. She loaded up her van to take her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews to church and other activities. She was involved in the choir and enjoyed listening to gospel music.
Mrs. Gannon is survived by her children, Craig Gannon and his partner Bobbie Jo Wilson and Kristie Marie Fowler; grandchildren, Ashley Youngblood and her husband Justin, Taylor Gannon and his wife Maria, Kadee Fowler and her partner Josh Hyder, Alexandria Fowler and her partner Ethan Selk, and Brittany Jenkins and her husband Brandon; six great grandchildren; siblings, Carlos Lovvorn and his wife Lesia and Wanda Gatewood Rolater; sister-in-law, Vivian Lovvorn; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Gannon, and siblings, Charles Lovvorn and Diane Morgan.
Visitation with the family will be Sunday, April 28, 2024 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Graveside services will be held Sunday, April 28, 2024 at 3:45pm at Miller Cemetery.
