Mark David Gore obituary
Mark David Gore was a caring son, brother, uncle, and friend. He left this world suddenly on January 30, 2022, at age 51. His spirit is alive, and he is celebrating with his Savior and all the friends and family who have gone before him. We will see Mark again one day.
He was born to David and Wilma Gore on June 28, 1970. Mark is a member of First Baptist Church in Smyrna and was baptized by W.D. Thomason. After graduating from Smyrna high school, Mark went on to graduate from Middle Tennessee State University with a bachelor’s degree in economics. Mark went on to a successful electronics sales career in Dallas, TX. Mark moved back to Smyrna in 2015 and spent his last years working at Home Depot and re-establishing old relationships with all the friends he would help week to week.
The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Mark. He loved a quiet evening with friends and family. He enjoyed romantic weekend trips with his beloved fiancé Christina Gramburg. When he was home his dog Carly would never leave his side. Mark had a charisma that made everyone he met want to know him better.
Mark is predeceased by his grandparents Floyd Carnes (Ruth) and Olon Gore (Katherine). He is survived by his parents, David, and Wilma Gore; a brother, Darren Gore (Rhonda); a sister, Allison Knox (Paul); nephews Tanner Gore (Emily, Greer, Olin), Greyson Gore, Reed Gore, and Luke Bailey; a niece Anna Bailey; uncles LaBron Carnes, Dale Gore (Ann), Don Gore; cousins Joshua Carnes (Kourtney) and Caleb Carnes (Harper).
The funeral will be on Saturday February 12, 2022, at Stones River Baptist church, with visitation between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. with a service following at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. W. D. Thomason and Pastor Tony Hinton officiating.
