MFRD Recruits Graduate from Tennessee Fire and Codes Academy
Three Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Recruits graduated from the Tennessee Fire and Codes Academy in Deason Friday morning.
Milicia Cook, Richard Goodyear, Jeffrey Plaisted and 12 students from other departments across the state completed 10 weeks (approximately 400 hours) of rigorous firefighting training.
They were recognized in front of family, friends, instructors, fire service personnel, and department members.
“We are very proud of our Fire Trainees,” said Fire Rescue Chief Mark Foulks. “We are excited to see them put their knowledge and skills to good use on the fire ground.”
