Miriam Sue Crawford obituary
Miriam Sue Crawford, age 78 of Murfreesboro died Wednesday May 30, 2018. She was born in Wheelwright, KY and preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Branson, and Ollie Dorton Branson. She was also preceded in death by brother, Gary Branson and sister Alice Hicks. Mrs. Crawford was a faithful member of St. Marks United Methodist Church, serving as Sunday School Teacher and Usher. She had been a teacher and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. Frederic M. Crawford; daughters, Rachel Reynolds and husband Chris of Murfreesboro, Liz Gray and husband Charles of North Carolina; sons, Robert Crawford and wife Michelle of Georgia, Bill Crawford and wife Crystal of North Carolina; grandchildren, Lindsay Crawford of Murfreesboro, Lauren Crawford of Arkansas, Christopher Crawford of Georgia, Jonathan Reynolds and wife Blair of Knoxville, Captain David Reynolds of Oklahoma, Katie Reynolds of Murfreesboro, Catherine Crawford, Matthew Crawford, Benjamin Crawford all of North Carolina, Sara and Elise Gray of North Carolina; brothers, Paul Branson and wife Barbara of Ohio, Daniel Branson and wife Patricia of Kentucky, John Branson and wife Kathy of Florida, and many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to St. Marks United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be 5PM to 7PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be 11AM Saturday at St. Marks United Methodist Church. Dr. Jim Clardy, Dr. Craig Goff, and Rev. Martha Touchton will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. www.woodfinchapel.com
