Enjoy a day of shopping with more than 50 vendor booths at the first annual Spring Marketplace hosted by MOPS Murfreesboro (Mothers of Preschoolers). The event will take place Saturday, March 16 from 9 am – 2 pm at the Lane Agri-Park Community Center, 315 John Rice Blvd., Murfreesboro. Admission is FREE. This indoor event will be held rain or shine.
The marketplace will feature a variety of goods including boutique clothing and accessories for ladies and children, unique crafts and artwork, high-quality children's books, health and beauty products, plus bakery treats and so much more! It’s the perfect event for a spring pick-me-up, to find custom gifts for everyone from new babies to special friends, or to just enjoy an outing with your girlfriends.
MOPS stands for mothers of preschoolers. MOPS Murfreesboro is a group of approximately 70 local moms in similar stages of life. We meet twice a month to spend time together and build community, and also hear from speakers on different parenting topics related to life with preschoolers. We’re also committed to serving our local community. Whether that is by providing food and companionship to local homeless mothers at Stepping Stones, collecting diapers for teen moms and those in need, or supporting other causes important to families in our community, we want to help make our city a better place to live. Proceeds from events such as the Spring Marketplace and generous donations help us to continue meeting and provide the means for us to offer special programs and further focus on service projects. Thank you so much for your support and helping us make Murfreesboro a better place to live, one mom at a time.
