Murfreesboro’s most wanted suspect captured
Wanted suspect Kenneth McIntyre has been arrested only a day after being featured on Murfreesboro’s Most Wanted.
Murfreesboro police received a tip that McIntyre had been seen in the area of Medical Center Parkway and Searcy Street Friday afternoon.
Police later received another tip that McIntyre was spotted on the Downtown Square.
He was taken into custody around 4:00 by Officers Hector Montalvo and Jonathon Sherwood.
McIntyre was taken to the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center where he was booked on charges of Violation of the Tennessee Sex Offender Registry.
He was placed on the registry after being convicted for the 1997 aggravated sexual battery of a child.
McIntyre was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to report his residency for the months of December, January and February after being released from jail in December.
