Murfreesboro’s Old YMCA Becoming a UFC Gym
Exciting update for Murfreesboro! The old YMCA building is getting a major transformation. It’s set to become a brand-new 41,000-square-foot UFC Gym!
Construction is already underway in the parking lot to create a new connector road from the Walmart stoplight to Armory Drive (where Bubba’s 33 is still planned to go). Once plans are approved by the city, work will begin on gutting and rebuilding the existing structure into a state-of-the-art fitness facility — just like the popular UFC Gym in Hendersonville.
What to Expect:

- Top-of-the-line training equipment
- UFC-style fitness programs
- Expected opening: June–July 2026
