Music Inspired By Community, new home, new event

Community outreach organization Music Inspired By Community (M.I.C.) has officially announced its transition into an independent entity, marked by a brand-new venue partnership and a major evolution of its signature live music format. On Friday, July 10, 2026, M.I.C. will host its inaugural event at Just Love Coffee Cafe (Murfreesboro East), introducing a premier, multi-artist Songwriters’ Round curated under the organization’s newly focused body of work and slogan: “Every Voice, Every Story.”
M.I.C. operates as a dedicated community outreach initiative designed to amplify local non-profits, create a supportive environment to quiet the static for individuals in recovery, and provide a purposeful stage for independent artists to pull back the curtain and share their journeys. Breaking away from its traditional single-featured-artist structure, M.I.C.’s debut at the Murfreesboro East location will showcase six exceptional local artists sharing the stage simultaneously, using the power of raw, acoustic music to unite, inspire, and heal.
The fast-paced acoustic night will be split into two distinct, uniform rounds of three, allowing the audience a rare, front-row seat to the vulnerabilities and inspirations behind the songs. The evening's carefully curated lineup balances established local powerhouses with fresh indie talent:
- Round 1: Highlighting deep, cinematic storytellers Lynnsie Maiah, Eli Rhodes, and Abigail Hope.
- Round 2: Bringing the night home with premier vocalists and fan favorites Cami Crites, Taylor Holland, and Kelly Alayna.
“If you've been to an M.I.C. Night before, you know it has always been about sitting in a room and diving deep into a singular creative journey,” said Joe Dahlke, director and lead organizer of M.I.C. “For our very first night at our brand new home at Just Love, we are breaking the mold. We are giving the community a beautifully balanced, intentional live show that honors both the veterans of our stage and incredible fresh discoveries, staying true to our mission of championing every voice and every story.”
Doors for the event will open at 5:40 PM, with the live music rotation kicking off promptly at 6:00 PM. Due to the intimate nature of the venue, space is strictly limited. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to secure seating and enjoy food and craft beverage offerings from the Just Love counter.
