S.R. 99 (New Salem Highway) at Barfield Rd closing all lanes
Starting 6 AM Monday August 17th through Monday August 31st, the contractor for TDOT will be closing all lanes of traffic on Barfield Road south of the SR 99. This closure is necessary to excavate the existing intersection and construct it back to the plan grades. The traffic on S.R. 99 will not be able to turn south onto Barfield Road. Traffic will be detoured onto Cason Ln and Veterans Pkwy. Advance notice signs and message boards will be placed on 8/10, informing the public of the closure.
