Parks and Recreation Department plans for second Master Plan Screening

The La Vergne Parks and Recreation Department wants your input as they plan for the future. The department is currently working on its new Master Plan and is looking for input from citizens concerning what they want to see as the city continues to grow over the next decade.

This is the second screening of the Master Plan. Citizens are welcome to stop by the La Vergne Public Library located at 5063 Murfreesboro Road, anytime between 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on March 10. The Master Plan will be on display and staff from the Parks and Recreation department will be on hand to discuss the wants and needs of anyone who stops by.

“The voice and opinions of our citizens is crucial for creating our master plan,” says Parks Director David McGowen. “We hope everyone who is interested in playing a part in the look and feel of our future parks will attend.”

Anyone with questions can contact the Parks and Recreation Department at (615) 793-3224 or email Kathi Melendy at [email protected].
