RCFR Fire Marshal’s Office Releases Name of Fatal House Fire Victim

Rutherford County Fire Rescue (RCFR) officials have identified the victim in Sunday’s fatal house fire on South Epps Woods Court as Glenora White of Murfreesboro.

Mrs. White was discovered inside the residence during search efforts and was pronounced deceased on scene.

The house fire was reported shortly before noon on October 2. RCFR, Almaville Volunteer Fire Department, Lascassas Volunteer Fire Department, Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services, and Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO) responded and discovered heavy fire coming from the corner of the house. RCFR, RCSO, and the Rutherford County Medical Examiner’s Office were called to investigate.

RCFR Fire Marshal’s Office is the lead investigating agency. Fire Marshal Joshua Sanders says the investigation is on-going and may take several more days to complete. “There is currently no indication of foul play,” said Sanders.
